6th Annual Natalie’s Run

Natalie Stovall Frady was a leader in the Health Information Management (HIM)profession and a leader in her community. She also served her State by sharing her gift of knowledge with students and other professionals throughout her career, serving in many roles through the Tennessee HIM Association. She most recently served as the chair for the THIMA HIE Task Force. In addition to her professional work, she was the founder and director for The Stovall Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, created for the purpose of aiding military families. She was a devoted wife and mother to two sons. On May 26, 2016, Natalie Stovall Frady lost her life in a tragic car accident. Natalie’s coworkers, friends, and family continue to grieve her loss and strive to honor her memory in a way that would not only carry on her professional advocacy by providing scholarships to students in the HIM field but would also carry on her desire to give back to military families.

We, her THIMA Family, keep her memory alive and aid future HIM professionals in the career that brought her to us through this 5k and 1 mile fun run fundraising event. The run funds a scholarship in her memory and also makes a considerable donation to Carry the Load. This organization is a non-profit partner that provides an active way to connect Americans to the sacrifices made daily by our military, veterans, first responders, and their families. Natalie supported Carry the Load each year as the relay traveled through Memphis. We are honored to do the same!

Thank you!

For those who participate this year and/or have participated in the past, the THIMA Foundation thanks you! We have issued several scholarships in Natalie’s name as well as made a considerable donation to Carry the Load. We hope to continue this annual tradition!
