KAHIMA Annual Outpatient Coding Symposium

This year CPT did not have the volume of changes that we have seen in the past, however the CPT Editorial Board continued on the path of bundling more procedures. We will review these changes and their effect on reimbursement.

Items to bring: Please bring 2018 ICD-10-CM and CPT books, if you have them; Laptop /Tablet (WIFI will be available); Paper and Pen for note taking.
Breakfast: Light Breakfast, regular and decaf coffee and water will be provided.
Lunch: Lunch will be provided.
*Please specify in the comment section of the registration if you have special needs for lunch, such as allergies.
Sodas: Sodas will not be provided, however there is a soda machine on premises if desire to purchase for an additional cost or you may bring your own soda.
Dress: Casual. You may want to bring a sweater; the meeting room is cool at times.

Mary D. Gregory is the Founder and President of Medical Administrative Solutions (MAS) a healthcare consulting firm specializing in medical coding, reimbursement, compliance and training solutions. She has over 25 years of medical coding experience in inpatient and outpatient coding services. Mary provides educational training for hospital systems, private healthcare organizations, the Indian Health Service, and individual students. She has been a guest speaker at NC TraumaRegistrar Symposium, Tennessee HFMA Regional Meeting, NCHIMA Annual Meeting, GHIMA Annual Meeting, and many other regional and local chapters of AAPC and AHIMA. Mary completed her Associates degree in Health Information Management at Central Piedmont Community College. She has obtained the following credentials: RHIT, CCS, CDIP, CPC, CRC and CCS‐P. Mary is a Licensed PMCC Instructor and an AHIMA Certified ICD‐10‐CM/PCS Trainer. She is also an active member of AHIMA, NCHIMA and AAPC.

If you have not yet paid KAHIMA dues for 2017, payment can be made online. Reminder that the KAHIMA dues calendar runs January 1- December 31. All attendees are encouraged to join as a KAHIMA member! Cancellation: Registration fees will be refunded (less $25 processing fee) upon written notice received 72 hours prior to the meeting. Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will not be refunded. Substitution for registrants is permitted.
No-Show: Registrants who register and are no-show will forfeit registration fee. If no-show registrant was not pre-paid, registrant will be billed via USPS.
