real time and provides information regarding state and
federal legislation, regulation, and professional best
practices for all legal aspects of managing, maintaining,
and releasing health information.

Chapters include consents, subpoenas,
release of information, behavioral health records, the
medical record (including the legal EHR), required
reporting, and more!
Updates to the web portal will be made in real time as
additions or revisions are made. You can also
select to receive an email notification to notify you of
the update.
When you order online, you will be asked
for the email addresses for each of the subscribers.
Once your payment has been received, access instructions
will be emailed to each of these email addresses within
two business days from receipt of payment.

Access to the THIMA Legal Handbook Web
Portal is obtained by a yearly subscription. The
subscription will run from October 1st - September
30th of each year. Prorated payments will not
be available.
Subscribers will receive an annual
renewal notice. The yearly renewal rates below
will apply.
When you register online, you will have
the option to pay by mail with a check or pay
online with a credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, or
Visa). If you are paying by check,
"offline/mail" under payment options in the shopping
cart. You will later see instructions to print the
invoice page and mail your payment to KnowledgeConnex.
The mailing address will be on the invoice.
Price does not include the 9.25%
Tennessee sales tax if your billing address
is in the state of Tennessee. The sales tax will
be added to your purchase. If you are
tax-exempt, you will have the ability to exclude the sales
tax when you proceed with the payment process.
